Our Commitment to Your Privacy
Acceptiva is dedicated to enabling the acceptance of online transactions in a professional, simple, secure, and affordable manner. We have developed the following Privacy Policy to fulfill our commitment to our clients with regard to the privacy of their donor's information.

Credit Card Numbers
When an individual uses the Acceptiva payment platform, billing information including the name on the individual's card, billing address and expiration date is used to process the transaction. All of this information is encrypted using 128 bit SSL, industry standard secure technology. This encryption is designed to prevent theft or interception of the information as it traverses our data network.

Completing a transaction online using the Acceptiva payment platform will not open an individual's personal information to misuse. Acceptiva does not disclose, sell, trade, rent, or otherwise reveal credit card or other personal information to third parties, including advertisers or marketers. Demographic and usage data may be used by Acceptiva in aggregate for internal analysis, but at no time are individual credit card numbers ever communicated or shared with anyone.

Donor Data and E-mail Addresses
Acceptiva collects donor data including e-mail addresses in order to process transactions and send the appropriate transaction receipts. If an individual checks a box to receive a newsletter from our client, this information is supplied to our client. Donor data including e-mail addresses collected during the transaction process is the property of our client and will never be used by Acceptiva other than to contact the donor regarding their transaction on the Acceptiva payment platform, should the need arise.

Acceptiva will not disclose, sell, trade, rent, or otherwise reveal donor data including e-mail addresses to any third party, other than to Acceptiva's client.

Each client may have a privacy policy that differs from Acceptiva' privacy policy. Please refer to the client's own privacy policy. Acceptiva is not responsible for any uses of an individual's information by our clients.

The Acceptiva Privacy Policy outlined above is subject to any legal requirements of disclosure dictated by statute or by an order of an appropriate court of law.
