Acceptiva has an available API for clients that would like to process transactions directly from their own web site or other software application, send donor and payment information directly to the Acceptiva payment gateway and receive a response back which is then handled at the client end.
All transaction data is available to clients via the Acceptiva Client Manager.
Acceptiva POST Functionality
Clients may also choose to design and host their own donation pages and POST donor data to their Acceptiva pages to collect payment information and complete the transaction. This enables clients to capture data in their own database and yet not have to host and maintain their own secure server. Completed transactions result in a POST back to a client's server to indicate that a transaction was successful.
Transactions processed via the Acceptiva gateway using the POST functionality automatically send email receipts to donors (or payers) at the client's discretion. Email receipts can be disabled if required. All transaction data is available to clients in the Acceptiva Client Manager.
